Description:	Bangtao Village Resort is located in the Bang Thao/Laguna area of Phuket. Near the hotel is a mangrove forest, Phra Tong Temple, and the Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Conservation Center. Also nearby are several beaches, but not Patong, as the hotel is on the opposite end of the island. Bangtao Village Resort offers one of the few reasonably priced accommodation choices in one of the most popular tourist destinations of Southeast Asia. Going around the island is relatively easy by either renting a car or a motorbike, or you can get on a tuk-tuk. The on-site restaurant specializes in authentic Thai dishes, and after a taste, you will not be searching for a fast food outlet.
