The Pine Golf Club

The challenge of the course and lovely views make it enjoyable to play here. Large stands of pine trees frame many holes. Wind frequently comes into play and factors in club selection, and large flattish greens contrast the slower putting surfaces at the Pine.

Some standout holes include the 9th, the longest par-4 at the Pine. The bunker on the right side of the green makes for a difficult second shot, and the hillier green adds to the challenge. The 12th is the signature hole, a 140-yard par-3 with a pond on the left and a bunker on the right. If a pin is on the left, a challenging blind shot from the tee-off awaits the brave.

The Pine Lodge is a 3-star golf resort with 27 rooms next to the golf course. The location well away from development makes for quiet days and nights. Golfers will see abundant local wildlife and lovely views from the lodge. 

The Pine golf course is remote and not the best-kept course in Bangkok. However, low green fees convince some to drive the extra distance and take a golf day in the countryside.
