The location of the Khao Kheow 27-hole golf course is the heart of the Pattaya golf corridor on the way to Bangkok and the Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Like many Pattaya courses, Khao Kheow Country Club sits in a valley between rolling hills. The course is quite long, and the elevation changes between holes add to the challenge.

In typical Pete Dye design fashion, precise shot-making is required to overcome not only the normal windy conditions but also to consider the numerous large ponds, bunkers, and mounds surrounding the fairways. Greens are small and undulating, which makes precise putting a key to scoring well.

With three nine-hole loops to choose between (A, B, and C), there is no end of excitement and many great golf holes to be played. Each nine has its own potentially card-wrecking holes. On the A Course, the par-4 7th occupies a wonderfully rural setting but standing on the tee, golfers see a vast expanse of water running from tee to green and a much thinner sliver of fairway gently doglegging its way to the hole. The B Course contains one of the best island green par-3s in Thailand. The green sitting out there, surrounded by water, has an eerie similarity to the TPC Sawgrass 17th. With Dye's multiplicity of bunkering styles matched by a nice variety of trees lining the way, this is one Pattaya golf course that's purely experiential.

Playing all 27 holes is an option for those who would like to enjoy the various holes, elevations, and settings. The clubhouse is functional with the main restaurant overlooking the B Course and serves golfers' favorites like Thai spring rolls, minced pork with basil, fried rice, and a wide selection of noodle soups.

Khao Kheow provides those golfing in Pattaya a solid experience and requires an A-game to score well.

I had a great time at Khao Kheow. When I arrived, there was a lengthy rain delay, but fortunately the clubhouse area is very comfortable and the staff were friendly. Once play resumed, I found the course to be well maintained, with a solid variety of layouts and challenges.

I booked a round of golf including transportation to play at Thai Country Club near Bangkok. Excellent service by K. Jeab from Golfasian. As I am a single golfer, Golfasian assisted me in recommending a course, which accepts bookings for single golfers. They did all the booking, including caddy and also provided very comfortable, punctual and safe transportation from my hotel to the course and back. The driver helped me with the check-in at pro-shop and was waiting at the course for me during the whole time. I took a shower, enjoyed the excellent food at the restaurant at Thai CC before being driven back to my hotel.
As of November 2025, the locker rooms at Thai CC are undergoing renovation work due to a recent fire and are not as luxurious as usual. Also, as of November 2025 there is a big road work ongoing on the way to the course after leaving the motorway, which adds additional travel time from downtown BKK.

Excellent service, the best of any golf tour we have ever had. Our tour guide and driver stayed with us all day and did all our check-in for golf, took us to pharmacies, monet changers, shops and booked restaurants for us. They were simply brilliant. The tour was well organised and everything went like clockwork.

I would seriously recommend Golfasian for any golf tour or indeed a tour without golf.

We booked 3 rounds of golf with Golfasian from Australia — one round from Bangkok and two from Pattaya — and honestly, the whole experience was excellent.

From hotel pick-ups and drop-offs to transfers and tee times, everything just worked. It was seamless, well organised, and completely stress-free. We didn’t have to think about logistics at all — just turn up and enjoy the golf.

A special mention to Arina, who greeted us at RG City Golf Club. She’s part of the operations team and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Little things like that make a big difference. She acted as our translator at times and can speak fluent Thai , English and even German.

Through her, we learnt about the regular golf events Golfasian runs almost monthly, which sound like a great option if you want organised golf with a good social vibe. Worth checking out their website for more details.

I’ll definitely be booking with Golfasian again for future golf trips to Thailand, Vietnam, and other parts of Asia. If you want a smooth, well-run golf trip where everything is taken care of, these guys deliver.

We had an excellent experience with a short golfing holiday organised by Golf Asian. They organised airport transfers from BKK to our hotel in Hua Hin. Golfing lessons with Marco Scopetta at a golfing simulator and at Pineapple Valley golf course. As beginner golfers we found the whole experience to be tailored for our needs. Fantastic service provided throughout by Richard and Neo, assisting with all aspects of course and hotel planning for our group of 18 people, arriving from various destinations. Our choices of courses were met 100% and they found decent hotels to keep us within our fairly tight budget. They also arranged additional nights in hotels for people arriving early/departing late and extra days golf/transport for those staying on longer. Special mention too to Arina, our on the ground golf rep who was always first on parade each day and to the 3 van drivers who were always on time and helpful at the golf courses. First-class service provided from start to finish; I really can't fault them on anything.

This was my third trip to Bangkok with Golfasian, the previous two when I lived in Hong Kong. This one was a much longer flight from the UK in early January. I came with my son and it was a short trip as we both needed to get back to the UK to work. It was 4 nights, 5 days and 3 rounds of golf. Golfasian was first class from start to finish. The booking experience and pre-trip communications were excellent. The choices of courses (Royal Bang Pa-in, Royal Gems Golf City Dream Arena, and Siam Country Club) were spot-on. So was the hotel (the Radisson Blu) which was notable for its service, quality, location and especially its breakfast. Our driver (Game) was superb; a font of knowledge who could not have been more helpful, friendly and professional. My experience of Golfasian over my 3 trips has been consistently excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a golfing trip to Thailand. My son and I are already looking at dates for a return trip next January, hopefully a longer trip to incorporate a couple of the beautiful courses in Hua Hin.
