Heron Lake golf course outside of Hanoi is decent. True to its name the Heron Lake course is situated among wildlife areas and most golfers will get frequent sightings of native heron birds. Designed by the same architects as have done Kings Island in Hanoi and Black Mountain in Hua Hin, the Hanoi golf course makes use of water on most holes and extensive greenside bunkering. Turf is the imported Paspalum grass making hitting off both fairway and rough areas not too demanding.

The clubhouse is contemporary in style and features full changing rooms as well as an international restaurant.

Golfasian has become our go to company for our group golf trips over recent years and this years visit to Danang, Vietnam did not disappoint. The recommendation from Golfasian to choose the Fusion hotel with daily spa access was a winner with our wives while the golfers enjoyed playing golf at 4 different courses all in close proximity to the Hotel. We also enjoyed a number of site seeing trips to places of interest such as Ba Na Hills and the golden bridge, the Imperial city of Hue & Hoi An which were all arranged by Golfasian including local guide and very safe drivers.

Golfasian put together another amazing trip for my tour party of 12, we experienced Cambodia 🇰🇭 for the first time and were all surprised by the quality of the courses.
Pattaya was again the highlight of the trip, Siam clubs provided just brilliant conditions and services. Chee Chan is just incredible, best course in Pattaya and a standout for every person on my trip.
Golfasian can’t be beaten on all aspects that they provide from the minute you step off the plane till the day you leave.

I’d like to recognize the fantastic job that Golfasian does regarding handing all aspects of a trip abroad to play these great courses in Thailand and other areas. This was my second trip and when you are on vacation your most valuable commodity is TIME…. With Golfasian, no time is wasted trying to sort out accommodation, golf, getting to and from the courses etc…. They handle it all efficiently and professionally. It’s money well spent knowing all you need to do is show up and enjoy the people and fantastic golfing experience.

Excellent service, the best of any golf tour we have ever had. Our tour guide and driver stayed with us all day and did all our check-in for golf, took us to pharmacies, monet changers, shops and booked restaurants for us. They were simply brilliant. The tour was well organised and everything went like clockwork.

I would seriously recommend Golfasian for any golf tour or indeed a tour without golf.

Great experience with GolfAsian for our Phuket golf trip. Fantastic advice on location and timing for our trip to get the best weather and conditions. Service was great and everything ran smoothly. We have used many Golf tour operators over the last 15 years but Golfasian is by far the best.
They checked course conditions a month before and sent us photos. Two weeks prior they learnt that some greens were to be repaired, so they advised and arranged alternate bookings.one of our members got sick on hole 1. They took care of hime, got him a private car to hotel , arranged hotel medical to look after him, with no extra fees . This is an exceptional level of personal service with understanding.The transport and registration at course was seamless , and the communication of information on courses, caddies weather and personal care was all very detailed and helpful. Golasian gave us a wonderful experience! Thank You.

We have just returned from 12 days in Vietnam with six rounds of golf spread across the time. Right from the start, communication with the Golf Asian staff member was clear and prompt. The arrangements were flawlessly organised. The drivers careful and courteous. And we had a ‘hotline’ number to call to instantly sort any issue. We didn’t need it - but it was nice to know we had it. Vietnam as a destination is brilliant. The people are warm. The coffee good. (And the chocolate excellent.) All the courses we played were picturesque in their own way. Particularly Than Lan and Stone Mountain. Be aware of the driving times to get to the courses. This is the only potential downside - and not uncommon across Asia. Overall, I found Golf Asian to be outstanding and would choose them again. No hesitation. As an aside, we stayed in the GM Premium Hotel in Hang Bong, Hanoi and found it a perfect blend of character and comfort. And just the right size. Highly recommend it as well. Happy golfing. 😎
