Hanoi Golf Club

As expected from Japanese management, the Hanoi Golf Club is very well maintained and a firm Hanoi favorite, especially with golfers wanting something a bit more forgiving than some of the more challenging Hanoi golf courses. The design concept is to make the course more easily manageable and the play enjoyable for all golfers, which is evident in the generous fairways and the space between them. The front and back-nine loops, arranged on either side of the clubhouse, comprise relatively open and flat terrain, with generally good-width fairways inviting free use of the driver from the tee.

The front nine is relatively flat with wide-open fairways where OB's are hardly visible, thereby making it particularly suitable for 'hard drives' off the tee.

However, the back nine adds more variety in the uphill and downhill holes, all requiring careful selection of suitable clubs for more accurate placement shots. The greens are large and undulating
so to serve as a fitting test for a championship course.

Excellent quality, though relatively shallow bunkering and out-of-bounds areas, is plentiful, and water hazards also make frequent appearances alongside the fairways of 10 of the holes and protect three greens. The par-3 13th is one of many attractive holes, made even more so with a picturesque island pond;  shots must carry water from tee to green. The 600-yard dog leg 5th is also an exciting hole that requires three precise shots to reach the green in regulation.

Golfers playing at the Hanoi Golf Club will enjoy their round on and off the golf course. An elegant clubhouse has all the everyday golfers amenities, including Japanese and international restaurants, a pro shop, clean & modern locker rooms and shower areas.
