Clark Sun Valley Golf & Country Club

This 36-hole Korean owned golf course, called Clark Sun Valley Golf and Country Club, is a mere 27 minutes from Angeles City, so it is very close to the city.

If you were coming from Manila allow around two hours, but that will depend on the time of day.

This fairly new club is divided into two good 18- hole golf courses. The first 18-holes is called either the Clark Course or the Dongwon Course, and is 7,127 yards long.

The second 18-hole golf course is the Sun Valley Course which is slightly shorter at 7, 015 yards.

Elevations Are Fantastic

The golf club sits in a valley and there are some incredible slopes and elevations, making this a fun but challenging golfing experience.

The two 72 par golf courses have uphill and downhill sloping fairways, thick bushes and ravines, that create a thrilling course for golfers of all levels.

In addition to the elevated tee boxes and tricky fairways, undulating greens are also surrounded by bunkers and sand traps.

Sun Valley is known for its breathtaking views of natural attractions, such as streams and waterfalls, along with the panoramic view of Mount Pinatubo.

Carts Get You Up to The Top

Golf carts are compulsory, but very welcome as the elevations are very steep. They do have proper large double buggies here, so you can drive around the course with your playing partner.

Its Korean run clubhouse sits on top of the course, and provides meals that range from Korean to Filipino dishes. Aside from restaurants, the clubhouse is also equipped with facilities including lockers, shower rooms, tee houses, cafes, and Pro Shop.

Maybe not a course for the purist, but Wow it is great fun, and the photo opportunities are numerous.
