Golfasian - Asian Golf Holiday Experts in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos & Myanmar

Hi Yim,

Back a couple of days now and thought I should drop you a short email thanking you and Golfasian for putting together a terrific trip for our group of 28.

Special thanks to Took for looking after the guys. 28 rowdy middle aged Aussies can’t be the easiest and Took was fantastic all the way, making it easy for any of the guys to arrange visits to the boxing or island trips.

The accommodation was fine for us although I can imagine different groups looking for something a bit more modern but the location was great. Knowing now how humid it is at this time of the year, I’d probably come at a different time though.

A bit on the courses. Red Mountain is the standout. Could have happily played there every day. Lakes course at Blue Canyon was very good and Laguna Phuket and Loch Palm were good entrees without being overly difficult. Couldn’t fault the course condition or service at any of these.

Mission Hills was in very poor condition. Fairways nearly saturated and greens that had more sand than grass. If they can have the 9th and 18th greens in perfect condition, there’s no reason the rest of the greens should be as bad as they were. The 17th looked more like a bunker than a green!!

The two restaurants, Sala Bua and Ban Rim Pa, were perfect for the two dinners, in fact, Sala Bua got a fair workout for the rest of the trip.

All in all, a great time was had by all and I will not hesitate to recommend Golfasian to any other golfers I know are heading that way for a holiday.
