Returned to Ozz last Friday afternoon and it has taken me till now to feel "normal" again.  The Thailand experience was even better than expected.  

Although scheduled to play 7 games we ended up playing 9! Day 7 was to be a golf free day but we ended up playing the local Lanna Golf Club course and despite the fact that it took 5 hours to play and we finished in the dark, the course was enjoyable and a genuine challenge.  We had no idea that it was common to play in groups of 6 and the sight of 6 players and 6 caddies on a green in front of us was a first.  On the last day we returned to Santiburi which was voted the most enjoyable of all the courses we played on tour.

As I mentioned I always put together a tour DVD for each of the tourists and I have uploaded the 7 min version onto YouTube.  Click the link and you will see why we all had a great time… even leaving out certain tour experiences that for good reasons did not make the cut!

Mark, the service provided by everyone in your organisation was first class.  Everything went without a hitch and I am firmly convinced that Thais really are the nicest people in the world.  The kindness, sincerity and helpfulness we experienced everywhere we went was almost overwhelming.

We spoke about you visiting us in early March.  Hope you can make it as I would be delighted to host you for as long as you would like to stay.  

I played Greg Norman’s Pelican Water’s GC this morning and it is one that you would really enjoy.  One over on the front nine then a crash on the last nine .. familiar story.
