About 40 minutes from downtown

Yangon City Golf Resort, affectionately known as YCDC Golf Club, offers a truly exceptional golfing experience for all levels of play. We are proud to present two distinct eighteen-hole courses, each with its own unique charm and challenge. The first, the Ngwe Thaw Tar, or "Silver" course, opened its fairways to golfers in 1994. Measuring a substantial 7000 yards from the championship tees, it provides a generous canvas for your game. Two years later, in 1996, our second gem, the Myakantha course, made its debut. Designed by the esteemed Kyi Hla Han, a prominent figure as the Asian Golf Tour executive chairman, this course is located just a pleasant 40-minute drive north of the bustling Yangon City, offering a serene escape for your golfing endeavors.

The beauty of Yangon City Golf Resort lies in the delightful contrast between our two championship layouts. The Silver course, situated on a gentle, flat plain, welcomes golfers with its forgivingly broad fairways and consistently flat greens. This design makes it an ideal choice for those who enjoy a relaxed round and appreciate a course that is forgiving for the average golfer. In stark contrast, the Myakantha course presents a more demanding test. Its tighter fairways and mature, overhanging trees require a more strategic approach and a greater degree of precision from your shots. This thoughtful design ensures that even experienced players will find a captivating challenge, making each round a memorable occasion.

Our commitment to excellence is evident in the immaculate condition of our fairways and greens, a standard that has earned Yangon City Golf Resort the honor of hosting the Asian PGA Tour in 1998 and 1999. This prestigious history, coupled with our dual course offering, solidifies our position as one of the finest golfing destinations in Yangon, and indeed, a must-visit when planning your next golf holiday in Myanmar. We warmly invite you to discover the unparalleled beauty and rewarding play that awaits you at YCDC Golf Club. Come and create lasting memories on our meticulously maintained greens.

We’ve decided that you have to stay at least 2 nights in Bagan; one to see the sun go down from the top of an ancient temple, the other one to take a boat ride on the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. Have some sundowners on a sandbank in the middle of the river (if the river is not too high). A private boat tour on the river during sunset time will hopefully show you a spectacular sunset while your guide will be serving cocktails and some snacks.
