Vung Tau Paradise Golf Resort Description:
(Vietnam's first seaside course)

The course at Vung Tau Paradise Golf Resort is a 27 hole layout, and due to the long commute from central Saigon, the golf resort remains one of Vietnam’s least played golf courses. Taiwanese designed Paradise Golf Club was the first seaside golf course in Vietnam and offer challenges to golfers of all levels.

Most golfers describe Vung Tau Paradise as testing, a links-style design which has an in-land feel despite playing along pristine beaches with spectacular ocean views on many of the holes. Palms and other native trees offer shade, and the sea breeze keeps things relatively fresh.

The best holes are the long par-5's which dogleg around stunning landscape tees and have views over the Sout China Sea.

Vung Tau Paradise Golf Resort has practice facilities with full putting and chipping green and driving range with sea views. The clubhouse at Vung Tau has a basic restaurant which serves some unique Vietnamese seafood, Korean fast food noodles, and cold beer. It is a place to spend some time relaxing after golf.

Overnight accommodations in the area are varied, but the resort is more suited towards locals tastes and houses mostly Korean golfers.

"This is probably the most expensive club in the area and certainly the most mismanaged. The photographs do not reflect the true state of the fairways and greens which are in a shocking condition. Large areas of turf have, for unknown reasons, been removed the greens are in immediate need of professional maintenance. Paradise cannot compare with professionally managed clubs such as Long Thanh Golf Club."

"We collectively, who are resident expats in Vung Tau fail to understand where you people get off.

Ownership and staff at this course are terrible. Ignorant greedy people.

When you play there it is not as a client golfer - you are a hindirence and an ATM machine.

They course is played by mainly arrogant shitty Koreans who don't understand the first words of the rules pertaining to this Gentlemans sport.

The course is managed by an arrogant and greedy Tiawanese lady and operated by Vietnamese greedy money grabbing bitches.

This is the true story of the Paradise Golf Rezort Vung Tau Vietnam - STAY AWAY!!!!!!!"

Well , I guess for the limited golf courses , I played here in the Philippines , some OF them are comparable to the golf courses , I played in California , U.S.A . Included also , some in Nevada and Arizona .

Four friends, 6 rounds of golf in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru. Arrangements by GolfAsian were great and all courses were different but good quality. All transfer drivers were helpful and punctual but our favourite was "Johnson" in KL. Minor criticisms - water was not supplied and our first 9 at Kota Permai was marred by major fairway renovation. All in all we had a fun time and we will be back.

Just returned from a great 2 week golf break in Vietnam (Hanoi, Ha Long, Danang, Ho Tram and HCMC) and generally the logistics etc were excellent with great attention to detail by GA. I've just completed the survey and made a few comments about what did go wrong and how perhaps a few things could be improved such as transport routings, driver wayfinding, caddie expertise, hotel ratings, etc. but generally an excellently organised trip and can't wait for the next one!!
