Designed by world-renowned golf architect, Gil Hanse and opened in the year 2000, Trump International Golf Club is a par 71, 18-hole golf course, situated in the heart of the vast Damac Hills residential development.
At 7,205 yards in length, the course weaves through 500 acres of previously flat, desert land, whilst utilizing a cavernous gorge as the backbone of the routing. The course offers interesting elevation changes, great views and many exciting shots.
Accurate shot making is required on this desert course, to score well amidst the unpredictable winds, varied vegetation and abundance of exposed sand. Interestingly, a couple of holes break from desert golf tradition, by incorporating challenging water hazards, encouraging strategic play off the tee and on approach shots. For players looking to hit some balls at night, there is a floodlit 9-hole, par-3 course, as well as a driving range with LED lighting.
Other facilities include, a world-class putting, chipping and practice facility, a golf pro shop, a golf academy and the largest clubhouse in Dubai, offering four high-end restaurants, state-of-the-art gymnasium and a luxurious infinity swimming pool.
