When it was opened in 1988, The Majlis course at the Emirates Golf Club was the first 18-hole grass course in the Middle East. The Club was the inspiration of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rasheed Al Maktoum and the Bedouin tent styled clubhouse nestled behind the 8th green, is named after him.

At the time of construction, the Majlis was surrounded by desert. Today, the sprawling city has grown to encircle the course, making for a spectacular city backdrop on many holes, particularly the iconic tee shot on the 8th. However, tall desert dunes still frame the perimeter of the course with both fresh and saltwater lakes coming into play on several holes.

The Majlis Course is undoubtedly one of the finest layouts in the United Arab Emirates. Each year, it plays host to the Dubai Desert Classic Tournament which attracts the world’s best golfers. Standout holes include the 7th, 8th and 9th, a run of three great holes in succession. The greens are large and fast and have been known to cause issues, even for the best golfers.

As you would expect, the practice facilities are world-class, including a state-of-the-art swing analysis studio, a nine-hole, par-three academy course, a short-game area, practice putting greens and a driving range, all floodlit. Emirates Golf Club is probably the best members-only golf club in Dubai.

GolfAsian once again delivered a great Thailand golfing trip experience (Kanchanaburi, Hua Hin & Bangkok).
They confirmed all our golf bookings 1-2 days beforehand and when one course failed to honour our booking (due to running a tournament even though we had a confirmed booking 6 months in advance), GolfAsian was able to find us a replacement course at short notice.
Also, when one of our golfers became unwell on the course, the GolfAsian rep with us in Bangkok provided excellent support including travelling and staying with him in hospital while receiving treatment.

This was our first time trusting Golfasian with our tour arrangements having seen great reports from others. These guys really know how to organise and deliver a golf package. Very knowledgeable, friendly and they execute the agreed plan with bang on precision. We had a great time based in Saigon playing six courses in eight days with everything running like clockwork. Mixed experience, though still lots of good. Guy my group first interacted with was professional and got us the courses we wanted. Very good, clear communication. The Senior Sales & Reservations Executive who we were handed off to was a bit less helpful. We had questions about airport transport due to different arrival times which was not covered in our confirmation email, which she did nothing to attempt to resolve. We felt the communicating was done in not the most polite manner. The van we were provided with was not the most comfortable and old, which seemed suboptimal given what we paid for our package. That said, the driver was a total champ and very punctual - he did a terrific job and was a nice guy. Also on the plus side, the courses were nice. So our group’s consensus - definitely some good here, but some room for improvement, particularly on the communication side.

Just completed 2 golfing trips in Asia. Both were organised and booked through Golf Asian. Both trips were absolutely fantastic. Easy communications and planning with the Golf Asian team. Everything at the locations went very smoothly and without a hitch. The transportation was great and on time every day. The venues were booked and expecting us and made us feel very welcome. Trip 1 was to Phnom Penh (Cambodia m) we played Vattanac, Chhun On and Garden City Golf Clubs .. it was like millionaires golf absolutely fantastic. The second trip was to the north of Bangkok playing Riverdale, Alpine and Robinswood golf clubs all were spectacular and lived up to expectations. Thanks again to Mark Siegel and his team at Golf Asian for looking after us so well. We looking forward exploring Vietnam with Golf Asian next year. Cant wait 😍.

Great experience from Golfasian

Pak Bagus took my booking and inquiries, then reverted with an itinenary. After a small tweak, confirmation was send, and a pament link came which was easy to execute

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Pak Bob who took care us throughout our stay.
From the daiyly pick-up, the golf registrations and taking some photos, he did it all

Even on our departure, Pak Bob checked us in at the airline counter and took us all the way to Security check/Immigration

Totally pleased with their service

I was my first time visiting Chian Mai and all I can say is wow. What an experience, from the time we arrived, to the time we departed Chian Mai. The Hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful, the food in the hotel was always fresh and very tasty. The nightlife was pretty awesome, with the Thai Boxing and the tasty beverages. The people in General are very kind and are always ready to assist you. The massages are everywhere and well worth the cost. We played three days of golf mostly from 0830 to around 1230, and then we had lunch at the golf course. Very delicious food.

We have used many Golf tour operators over the last 15 years but Golfasian is by far the best.
They checked course conditions a month before and sent us photos. Two weeks prior they learnt that some greens were to be repaired, so they advised and arranged alternate bookings.one of our members got sick on hole 1. They took care of hime, got him a private car to hotel , arranged hotel medical to look after him, with no extra fees . This is an exceptional level of personal service with understanding.The transport and registration at course was seamless , and the communication of information on courses, caddies weather and personal care was all very detailed and helpful. Golasian gave us a wonderful experience! Thank You.
