Algarve, Portugal, 15 November 2014 – Golfasian (www.golfasian.com), Asia’s largest pure play golf tour operator won the “Asia’s Best Golf Tour Operator” award at the inaugural World Golf Awards. Nena Huwae, Golfasian’s European Marketing Manager was presented with the trophy by Steve Rider, the evening’s host and former anchor for the BBC’s golf coverage, at the Conrad Hotel in the Algarve, Portugal.
The world-wide voting process included industry experts, senior executives and professionals from within the golf, travel, and tourism industry. In addition to best golf tour operator, other categories included best golf destination, golf course, and golf resort.

Johnny Hall - Used Golfasian to organize a 2 week trip for 6 people - 3 golfers and 3 non-golfers, travelling to 4 different parts of Thailand and playing 7 different courses. Brian McHugh - Our Danang golf tour has just finished. We played the 4 great courses there, and played them twice. Our group was 10 pax, from being met at the airport and being delivered to our hotel, and then for our 8 days of golf, everything was perfect. I would like to specially thank Miss Huong who did so much to help us before and during our tour, and also our driver/tour guide Lucky who is not only a lovely man, but was funny, full of knowledge which he was happy to share with us, and he is a great and safe driver.
