With our continuous growth, we are seeking an experienced Golf Travel Sales Consultant to join our leadership team, based in Manila.
Functions as a sales executive in the Sales department to support our business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptable, and be a creative problem solver who can think outside the box while meeting short-term objectives and staying focused on long-term company success.
Main responsibilities of the Golf Travel Sales Consultant:
- Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them of appropriate destinations, golf courses, accommodations, activities, and costs
- Issue quotations to and close business from interested parties
- Use promotional techniques and prepare offers to sell golf packages
- Maintain financial sales records
- Meet profit and sales targets
- Host VIP clients as required
Required Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of the golf industry, destination management, and tour operators is an advantage
- Outstanding leadership, proven financial stewardship, & excellent communication skills are required
- Enthusiasm to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to effectively manage time and schedules
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience in the travel industry
- Strong sales and commercial awareness
- Sound knowledge of Philippine travel destinations, markets, and trends
- Ability to interact and communicate, and negotiate effectively
- Fluent in English
- Degree in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, Business, or relevant field
- Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
