The Khao Yai National Park is the oldest and most famous in Thailand, some even say one of the finest in Asia. Covering an area of more than 2000 square km. on a forest covered mountain plateau it comprises several hills, two major rivers – Lam Takhong and Nakhon Nayok – some 20 waterfalls and a wide array of plant and animal life. It stretches into four different provinces; Nakhon Rachasima (Korat), Nakhon Nayok, Sara Buri and Prachin Buri, and is regarded as the gateway to the North East – Isaan – from the Central Plains. You can easily reach the park by ground transport from Bangkok within 3,5 hours. Read more about Golf in Khao Yai
