The Hotel originally opened in 1864, borrowing its name from the charming expanse of ground known as the Galle Face Green, which stretches for a kilometer by the side of the Hotel, along the coast, where, in Victorian times, it was a popular place to take a walk in the sea air, or a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.

The golf Asian staff was better than they enen probably had to be from start to finish. Recent trip to Phuket, everything organised by Golfasian, except flights. 3 courses in 3 days, all went without a hitch, from Pick up at Airport straight to the 1st course with plenty of time to spare till our Tee off thanks to their timely pick up and suggested Tee time. All on ground from then on went like clockwork, pick up at hotels, drop off at the courses and then back to the hotel. All the courses were expecting us and were well prepared, which made things extremely easy. Well organised, on time and stress free...what more can you wish for?

Our recent trip to the Pattaya area for 6 rounds of golf was excellent, and went very smoothly. Golfasian's itinerary was well executed, and everything worked like clockwork. Their drivers were exceptional in their service, and would register us at the golf club while we went straight to the locker room or driving range.

All this at very reasonable price levels makes Golfasian the number one choice for our group, and this is confirmed by us planning our golf holiday through Golfasian for the 8th year in a row.

Niki at GolfAsian Thailand put together our golf itinerary on extremely short notice and every part of the experience was efficient and smooth. From organizing the itinerary, managing payments, being picked up at the hotel by fantastic drivers (Sombat and Rocky in Hua Hin are great!), picked up after our round in a timely manner...all of it was fantastic! I recommend you email or call Golfasian directly because my first encounter with them through their online chat was absolutely awful. But I gave them a second chance and Niki came to our rescue. We couldn't be happier and will definitely use GA again!

Accommodation great, hotel in Hanoi in heart of old city with abundant street food.
