Verdamar Golf Club
It is about two hours’ drive from Mactan Airport, and Cebu City just past Bogo. The club is a two-hour drive along cemented roads, along the coastline, and along some interesting mountain towns to Bogo.
This par 70, 5,515 yard 18-hole course has an Arizona style feel, with huge waste bunkers, undulating fairways, challenging greens and the beautiful Tañon Strait as a backdrop.
Cactus growing alongside tropical trees punctuate the desert-like features of the course, and is set in a tropical location with breathtaking views of the sea.
Short and Creative Layout
A relatively short course, it is still able to deliver a par 6,545-yard hole, which is fairly unique.
Remember here you will enjoy some interesting aspects from the creative mind of the world-famous golf designer, Gary Player.
Facilities include practice putting greens and tee houses on the fairways. It also includes a clubhouse that has a restaurant, bar, with male/female lockers and showers. The resort is located in a small cozy beach with crystal clear water.
