IOI Palm Villa Golf & Country Resort is located just a 20-minute drive from the Singapore/Malaysia border and 30 mins from Johor City. The 27-hole golf course was developed by the Industrial Oxygen Incorporated (IOI) Group for challenge and leisure in 1998. An exclusive high-end residential township and shopping mall surrounds the golf course.
Designed by renowned architect Rick Robbins, the resort has 3 nine golf courses (Palm Course, Putra Course & IOI Course) each providing a unique golfing experience. The landscape surrounded by native palm trees gives a magnificent view of Gunung Pulai. IOI Palm Villa is a popular course for locals and Singaporeans making the short trip over the causeway.

IOI Palm Villa has a comprehensive range of club facilities, although the onsite accommodations and main clubhouse are showing their age.

She kept me informed every step of the way and provided clear, timely guidance on everything I needed to know—from visa requirements and travel arrangements to all the finer details of the trip. Upon arriving in Jakarta, we were warmly welcomed by Hana and our on-the-ground guide, Boyan. Boyan was outstanding. Golfasian were amazing. Every pickup was perfect, drivers walked you through check in, and waited to drive you back to hotel. The complications with transport in Thailand is substantial and having a superb firm like Golfasian was well worth it. Tee times were very good and pre booked, if you had tried to get on your own it would have been impossible. We played some of the best golf courses in Asia and through out agents were available to look after you.
We can recommend Golfasian without hesitation and you are in safe hands

I booked a round of golf including transportation to play at Thai Country Club near Bangkok. Excellent service by K. Jeab from Golfasian. As I am a single golfer, Golfasian assisted me in recommending a course, which accepts bookings for single golfers. They did all the booking, including caddy and also provided very comfortable, punctual and safe transportation from my hotel to the course and back. The driver helped me with the check-in at pro-shop and was waiting at the course for me during the whole time. I took a shower, enjoyed the excellent food at the restaurant at Thai CC before being driven back to my hotel.
As of November 2025, the locker rooms at Thai CC are undergoing renovation work due to a recent fire and are not as luxurious as usual. Also, as of November 2025 there is a big road work ongoing on the way to the course after leaving the motorway, which adds additional travel time from downtown BKK.

We had an excellent experience with a short golfing holiday organised by Golf Asian. They organised airport transfers from BKK to our hotel in Hua Hin. Golfing lessons with Marco Scopetta at a golfing simulator and at Pineapple Valley golf course. As beginner golfers we found the whole experience to be tailored for our needs. Marco was excellent and got us playing straight away. We definitely recommend him and golf Asian for a golfing holiday. Thank you

Another excellent golf trip arranged by Ohm of Golfasia. Superb central location for the hotels and a fantastic selection of golf courses in Bangkok and Pattaya. As ever, the transport to and from the airport and golf clubs went without a hitch. This time we added a beach holiday and Ohm arranged the internal flights to & from Krabi and arranged for our golf clubs to be stored in their office during this time.
