Comprising the Lake Course and the River Course, the Palmer-designed 18 is a playable, expertly maintained layout that challenges the player while never beating him up. Each golfer should carefully select from the five sets of tees to be able to both enjoy the course to its fullest and have a reasonable level of challenge. These nines form a picturesque course on rolling topography perfectly suited to captivating golf.
The Plantation Course at Emeralda started as the front nine of the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus design. Only nine completed, but the Nicklaus nine remains a sterling loop. Many golfers prefer to mix one nine from each of the two designers represented to develop one of the best composite courses in Indonesia. Where else can you play both a Palmer and Nicklaus course in the same round?
