Bali Beach Golf Course in Sanur opened in 1972. The golf course was formerly known as The Grand Bali Beach Golf Course. In 2004, new golf ownership came onsite and the course upgraded. In 2005 the renamed Bali Beach Golf Course with clubhouse and driving range opened to the public.
The Bali Beach Golf Course set in an environment of mature, tall trees, lakes, earth mounding, and regulation green complexes. Here you can play golf in beautiful pitch spotted by shady pines and flowering hibiscus shrubs. All features combine and add to the aesthetic beauty while providing challenges to all golfers of all skill levels.
The greens are designed to provide good putting surfaces, without severe undulations. The subtle breaks on the greens will always keep the golfer guessing. The greens are also well-bunkered, with little room for errant shots.
The golf course plays to a par 36 with seven par-4’s, one par-5 and one par-3. The variety of holes gives golfers enough challenge to enjoy a good game. Wind is a factor and comes into play on a few holes, especially on the par-3 2nd hole. Higher handicappers have the option of laying up and staying out of trouble, while the scratch golfer needs to be sharp and accurate to play to his or her handicap.
The clubhouse has a nice Indonesian restaurant and full bar. Complete golf equipment rental and caddies are available.
