The Tourism Authority of Thailand launches “China Common Project Golf 2014” to boost numbers of hi-end Chinese golf tourists visiting Thailand. Banyan Golf Club Hua Hin, Thailand, August 20 2014 — Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) culminates its China Common Project Golf Tournament 2014 held at the Royal beach resort cities of Hua Hin and Cha Am. The initiative was conceived by TAT’s Chinese offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming, Chengdu and Guangzhou who agreed a joint campaign to boost the promotion of hi-end golf tourism packages for the China market. The objective of the tournament was to increase awareness that Thailand is the top golf destination in Asia. Over 3 days, 160 Chinese golfers and golf media representatives from various cities in China savored 3 of the most prestigious courses on offer in Thailand; Black Mountain Golf Club, Springfield Royal Country Club and  Banyan Golf Club which hosted the final day and prize giving dinner. Prizes for both individual and team events were presented by TAT’s Deputy Governor for International Marketing Asia and South Pacific, Mr Pongsathorn Kessasamli. TAT’s Deputy Governor for International Marketing Asia and South Pacific, Mr Pongsathorn Kessasamli“In a relatively short time span, Thailand will grow into one of the most dynamic centers for golf in Asia. There are over 280 golf courses in the Kingdom and some of these rank amongst the finest in the world. China is growing rapidly in terms of golf business and this market will be seeking experiences further afield, generating significant tourism income for premium providers such as Thailand. Thailand is a top golf destination, it is very pleasurable, very affordable and golf can be played in a variety of locations all year round. And don’t forget the Land of Smiles signature hospitality which makes Thailand a golfer’s paradise”. Through this initiative, TAT anticipates up to 1,500 Thailand premium golf tour packages will be sold in the Chinese market by the end of 2015. • Great service from beginning to end. The fast lane at the airport started our trip wonderfully and the organisation throughout was faultless. Hua His was a delightful surprise. Black Mountain golf course was great. The trip to the National Park was fantastic. Pukky was brilliant. Second trip we have done through you and will be doing more.

    • Just had 17 of my members from Mt Derrimut Melb, Aust play and stay in Hua HIN through Golfasia.
From pick up in Bangkok to being dropped off to head home, Ian Morgan and his staff could not have been more helpful. Courses were amazing.

    • After our fantastic vacation, I wanted to take a moment to thank you. It was purely by chance that I stumbled upon GolfAsian during my internet search, but I couldn't imagine a better organization. The service and follow-up were excellent, and the selection of golf clubs and excursions was perfect. This definitely deserves a repeat. I will wholeheartedly recommend your organization within our golf circles here in Belgium.
If there's any way I can be of assistance to GolfAsia in Europe, please let me know.
