Sta. Elena Golf Club has been included several times in the list of 100 Best Golf Courses Outside the United States by Golf Digest Magazine - the first in 2005-2006 and the more recent one in 2016-2017. It is a prestigious award recognized by industry professionals.

Aside from that, Sta. Elena is one of 600 or 700 golf clubs certified by the Audubon Society as a nature sanctuary through its Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for golf courses.
