Laguna Golf Lang Co

Laguna Lang Co Golf Club in central Vietnam near Lang Co Bay and a 3-kilometer beach in the Chan May region of Central Vietnam, an area renowned for its pristine coastline, natural scenery, and proximity to UNESCO World Heritage sites. The site is located between Hue 30 kilometers to the North and Danang 35 kilometers to the South.

Six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo designed the Lang Co par-71 golf course. Laguna Lang Co plays home to the annual finals of the Faldo Series Asia, and many participating players have gone on to professional status afterward. As a result, the most experienced players and beginners alike enjoy golf at Lang Co. The course presents various tees for all levels, measuring 6,958 yards from the championship tees and a friendly 5,263 yards from the front tees.

The Laguna Lang Co site nestles between a backdrop of undulating mountains and a beachfront. A calming sea breeze wafts across the course, which offers ocean views and an amphitheater-like mountainous backdrop.

In keeping with its links-like characteristics, the Laguna layout also offers a traditional out-and-back routing. The course takes excellent advantage of various existing environments with golf weaving between trees, over rice paddy fields and streams, through impressive rock features, and alongside the beach. The surrounding rice paddies even have their own heard of buffalo for plowing and harvesting duties. Feel free to take an Instagram for home, but don’t get too close!

Each hole on the course reveals a character of its own, presenting golfers a myriad of opportunities for exciting and memorable play. However, the par-3 5th stands out as the signature hole. Incorporating large mounds around the green that mirror a mountain peak in the background is the only hole with any apparent human-made influence. The par-5 finishing hole is an excellent dog-leg that is sure to excite – and settle many bets along the way to a great round. Watch out for the 5-meter high fairway bunkers at the landing areas and take an extra club to carry the dunes fronting the green.

Facilities are an impressive 5-star golf resort. These include a fully stocked pro shop, premium locker rooms, driving range, extensive practice area, a sports bar, and an excellent fine dining restaurant. The Lang Co complex also includes Banyan Tree and Angsana resorts and spas and villas.
