This 18 holes golf course can proudly declare to be the first all-Bermuda golf course in Sabah when it opened in 1994.

Located in the middle of an area of mature oil palm, which is prone to flooding during the monsoon periods, it is designed to adapt the contours of the land and be environmentally friendly.

The course is scattered with numerous ponds and is crossed by natural streams, which adds to the challenge in this layout. It also has the most extended 6325m par layout. Anyone playing the course for the first time will be surprised by the diverse chorus of design and the beauty of its setting.

The signature hole is the short 17 Green Island, where the tee shot has to land on a narrow strip of the 'plateau' before attacking 30m below and surrounded by a stream.

Another excellent golf trip arranged by Ohm of Golfasia. Superb central location for the hotels and a fantastic selection of golf courses in Bangkok and Pattaya. As ever, the transport to and from the airport and golf clubs went without a hitch. This time we added a beach holiday and Ohm arranged the internal flights to & from Krabi and arranged for our golf clubs to be stored in their office during this time.

Everything! From the start to finish in organising our trip to Thailand to play at arguably the 4 top courses. Loch Palm, Red Mountain, The Lakes at Blue Canyon and the most beautiful Canyon course at Blue Canyon. Richard and Benja were accommodating in all requests and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Great company! They helped me book rounds in the Philippines, which I do not recommend doing on your own, since most of the courses are private. They booked the hotel which was definitely nice (got a massage in the building after every round!) They also give you a tour coordinator which helps with the logistics (shoutout to mine-Edwin for being an awesome tour coordinator)! Overall, 5 star experience and would definitely book them again.

Golfasian organised a 17 day trip to Vietnam including 4 games of golf, tours and internal flights to three cities and a cruise. The trip was seamless and everything was organised and executed perfectly. Our cruise was cancelled due to a Typhoon and the people at Golfasian instantly organised transport and accommodation for us they couldn’t have been more helpful. We have just returned from 12 days in Vietnam with six rounds of golf spread across the time. Right from the start, communication with the Golf Asian staff member was clear and prompt. The arrangements were flawlessly organised. The drivers careful and courteous. And we had a ‘hotline’ number to call to instantly sort any issue. We didn’t need it - but it was nice to know we had it. Vietnam as a destination is brilliant. The people are warm. The coffee good. (And the chocolate excellent.) All the courses we played were picturesque in their own way. Particularly Than Lan and Stone Mountain. Be aware of the driving times to get to the courses. This is the only potential downside - and not uncommon across Asia. Overall, I found Golf Asian to be outstanding and would choose them again. No hesitation. As an aside, we stayed in the GM Premium Hotel in Hang Bong, Hanoi and found it a perfect blend of character and comfort. And just the right size. Highly recommend it as well. Happy golfing. 😎
