Yes, points follow a calendar-year expiry rule. Points earned in any given year expire on 31 December of the following year. For example, points earned on 25 March 2026 will expire on 31 December 2027. Points earned on 25 December 2026 will also expire on 31 December 2027. This gives you between 12 and 24 months to use your points depending on when they were earned.
