The course is short by modern standards, which makes it easier for higher handicap golfers to putt for pars, instead of saving bogeys.
Meru Valley Golf & Country Club has some great holes. The fourth hole is an absolute cracker. It's like Augusta 12th, water fronting the green, just about 130 meters from the elevated tee box. The signature hole is the 6th. There's an opening in the foliage for golfers to peek through to see the par-3 green guarded by water in the front. It's a nice course for Malaysia standards, and the greens are absolutely a delight to putt on. The greens, plus the fact that the course is really beautiful, makes it one of the favorites for Malaysian golfers
Some people find Meru Valley challenging on its own, but the scenery is beautiful and the experience even more exhilarating. The course offers fantastic practice facilities, including bay, covered driving range, chipping, pitching, bunker practice, and putting greens.
