COURSE OF THE MONTH:
Kota Permai Golf & Country Club
Consistently ranked among Malaysia’s finest, Kota Permai Golf & Country Club is a must-play for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. Designed by renowned architect Ross Watson, this 18-hole championship layout has earned its place among Asia’s top golf courses, hosting prestigious events such as the Asian Tour’s Volvo Masters, the World Cup Qualifier, and the European Tour’s Malaysian Open.
Kota Permai will also feature in the tournament lineup for the 2026 Malaysia World Masters (22-28 November), giving amateur golfers the chance to compete on the same fairways that have hosted the pros.
What makes Kota Permai exceptional is its balance of natural beauty and technical challenge. Set within the leafy township of Kota Kemuning, the course unfolds through mature trees, shimmering lakes, and sculpted bunkers. Each hole demands strategy as much as skill - Zoysia fairways reward precision, while the fast Bermuda greens test every putt. Signature holes like the par-4 second, flanked by a water hazard that snakes toward the green, and the dramatic closing par-5 with its elevated tee, are unforgettable.
Beyond the course, facilities are world-class. A two-tier driving range, dedicated short-game areas, and an inviting clubhouse offer everything golfers need before and after their round. Whether you’re chasing a low score or simply soaking in the atmosphere, Kota Permai delivers a tour-level experience from first tee to final putt.

NEW COURSE DEVELOPMENTS:
Hann Reserve – Nicklaus Course (Clark, Philippines)
The Philippines is about to welcome one of Asia’s most ambitious golf projects - Hann Reserve, a 450-hectare golf and lifestyle destination in New Clark City, set to debut its first course in March 2026. Leading the lineup is the Nicklaus Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus and his team, promising a world-class golf experience that blends strategy, beauty, and challenge in equal measure.
Carved into the foothills of Tarlac’s lush mountain landscape, the Nicklaus Course is expected to feature wide, sculpted fairways, bold bunkering, and perfectly framed views - classic hallmarks of Nicklaus Design. Each hole is crafted to test precision and creativity, rewarding smart course management over power play.
But Hann Reserve is more than just a golf course; it’s a complete golf and leisure destination. Alongside the three planned championship layouts by Nicklaus Design, K.J. Choi, and Sir Nick Faldo, the development will include a state-of-the-art golf academy, luxury villas, and a five-star resort.
Located just 30 minutes from Clark in Pampanga, Hann Reserve is poised to become one of Asia’s most prestigious golf destinations - a place where world-class design meets breathtaking natural surroundings, ideal for your next Philippines golf holiday.
