Sherwood Hills Golf Club

Sherwood Hills is one of three Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses in the country, and apparently it happens to be the Golden Bear’s favorite. Located only a half hour outside Makati City, Sherwood Hills is not to be missed. Nicklaus was in the country doing a site inspection of the construction of the two golf courses at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club (both Nicklaus signatures) when Freddy Campos invited him out to Trece Martires.
Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club

Location:Â Cavite
This club offers the largest golfing facility in the Philippines, having an incredible four championship level courses on offer. To get there it takes only up to one-hour drive from Makati City, through the route of South Superhighway and Carmona, Cavite. You are spoilt for choice here, as these golf courses will suit players at all levels.
Mimosa Plus Golf Course

Location:Â Pampanga
Around 23 minutes from Angeles City, Mimosa is located in the shadow of Mount Pinatubo, close to the ex-American Clark Air Base in the Pampanga region. The Philippine country club is two-hours from Manila, making golf on the day of the drive over a good possibility. Mimosa Plus Golf Course dates back its existence from the time of the Americans in the Philippines.
Luisita Golf Club

Location:Â Hacienda Luisita
To the north west of Manila, Luisita has the distinction of being named as 13th on the list of Top 100 Courses in the Philippines. Roughly a two and half hour drive from Manila, or just 52 minutes North of Angeles City, Luisita Golf and Country Club is one of the oldest golf courses in the country, having opened for play in 1967. This 18-hole championship course, was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior.
