En ce qui concerne le climat, les golfeurs doivent prendre deux aspects en considération : le climat en général, et la différence entre la haute et la basse saison. La Thaïlande a un climat tropical à 3 saisons. Dans la plupart des régions, la saison chaude s’étend de mars à mai, la saison « verte » de juin à octobre, et la saison fraîche de novembre à février. Durant la saison fraîche, les températures sont douces –de 35,5°C (96° F) à 16°C (62° F) la nuit- avec grand soleil et une légère brise permanents, et une humidité très inférieure au reste de l’année. C’est le temps idéal pour le golf. C’est aussi la grande saison touristique et les places, aussi bien d’hôtels que de terrains de golf, sont très courues. Pendant la saison chaude, qui commence en mars, les températures peuvent atteindre 40°C (102° F), Cependant, leur augmentation est graduelle au cours de la journée, ce qui rend le climat supportable. Au milieu de cette saison, le temps est chaud et sec dans tout le pays. Le meilleur moment pour jouer au golf est tôt le matin ou après le déjeuner. La Thaïlande voit deux moussons, une plus chaude venant du sud-est (mai à septembre) et une plus fraîche du nord-est (fin octobre à début mars). Les températures varient en conséquence, les plus hautes ne dépassant pas 25-28°C (77-82° F). La majorité des pluies tombent pendant la période « verte » de mai-juin à octobre (mousson du sud-est). Bien qu’il y ait de fréquentes averses et orages, c’est de loin la mousson la moins pluvieuse de toute l’Asie du Sud-est. La cote est, plus que le reste du pays, est affectée par la mousson du nord-est. Septembre est le mois le moins recommandé aux touristes…et aux golfeurs ! Pendant tout le reste de la saison des pluies, il est impossible de prévoir la fréquence et l’intensité des pluies. Il peut y avoir de longues périodes sans pluie, ou avec de légères averses intermittentes. Dans tous les cas, les températures sont les plus élevées.

Our golfing trip of 8 people to Vietnam has just finished sadly. We started off in Ho Chi Minh City, then Danang and finally Hanoi with a two night HaLong Bay cruise to have some R & R after 7 golf games plus some sightseeing. Miss Huong was so helpful with all aspects of our tour and also in organising catering for non seafood eaters wherever we went on our itinerary. The drivers during our stay were friendly and obliging from Tony in Ho Chi Minh, Lucky in Danang and Mr Simon in Hanoi was especially helpful and informative and more than happy to answer any questions plus also give suggestions which we were grateful for. We could not fault the service from Golfasian and would not hesitate to recommend them and use them again.

March 2019 marked our fourth and best golf trip so far. This time we visited Hua Hin and Pattaya and Golf Asian out did themselves. Our Bus driver “Rocky” in Hua Hin looked after us perfectly as did “Moo” in Pattaya. Actually Moo has been one of our bus drivers on every trip and we love him to bits. His little giggle of a laugh when listening to our antics is hilarious 😆 We also had the absolute delight of having Bua accompany us on most trips. Bua stayed with us and made sure everything was perfect until we had all teed off.
So thanks to Golf Asian, rest assured we will be seeing you all again 👍🏼
