SAIGON, Vietnam — The Ho Chi Minh Golf Trail, just a year old but already Asia’s most talked about golfing itinerary, has retained Indochina’s largest golf tour operator, Golfasian, as the Trail’s official tour operator partner.

Starting Sept. 1, visitors to www.hochiminhgolftrail.com can book their entire itineraries through Golfasian (www.golfasian.com), which last year enabled more than 3,000 golfer visits (some 860 separate parties) to Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Phnom Penh (dpa) - Cambodia's efforts to attract high-end tourists by developing a world class golfing scene in the space of just a few years appears to have paid off, with a major regional golf tour company preparing to showcase the courses in Europe.

Golfasian, which is based in Thailand, said it would promote golf in Cambodia alongside neighboring Thailand and Vietnam at the International Golf Travel Market in Marbella, Spain from November 11-14.
