Kanchanaburi, sometimes referred to as River Kwai, is the third largest province in Thailand after Chiang Mai and Korat. The Kanchanaburi terrain is comprised mainly of mountains and high plains. Most of the local population is of Thai ancestry with some Mon and Karen hill tribe minorities that add an exotic touch to golf in Kanchanaburi.
